This is a very obscure short film with seemingly not much known and probably there is a reason why it does not make it big. Initially I found it hard to hate the movie because the film intentionally plays the premise for laughs. 35 minutes is spent to picture a battle between two giant women! Whow sounds weird, interesting or plain stupid? If you think the premise sounds weird, than the movie it's gonna get even weirder and inducing disappointment, if you think it's interesting then prepare yourself for something more exciting, and if you think it's stupid well nothing is smart about this short film, but... Battle of the Colossal Women really is humorous is stupid silly kind of way, sometimes...

Stace err Sally err Dweeb?

You see it all started with a boring 5-minute scene spent about a geeky female scientist named Suzi (Rachel Krupsky) working on her secret formula. Suzi has a secret crush on Todd (Robert Briggs), her fellow classmate on Thermal Molecular Biology. Unfortunately for Suzi, Todd already has a b*tchy girlfriend, liluth (Iris) who mocks Suzi for her rather chubby size. And the worst part is, Todd doesn't even care a zilch about Suzi and he even calls her with the wrong names like Stace or Sally or even Dweeb.

Eventually, Suzi manages to lure Todd to her lab by saying she's going to help him get a D+ on the midterm the following week. Initially Suzi wants to help him get a B on the exam but for Todd it would be too much of a work, besides he can't even pronounce the words "Thermal Molecular" In the lab Suzi has prepared the secret formula which magically (and so moronically) changes her clothes into hot party costume! And after a session of fully clothed sex-ing, Suzi decides to drink more of that potion! But it turns her into a giant woman who apparently can hypnotize Todd to be his slave! (although she doesn't order him to do anything) And since she becomes a giant, then it means her small clothing are ripped off leaving her fully naked. Suzi then decides to go for a walk outside the lab leaving Todd unconscious on the floor of the lab.

liluth walks in and angered by the fact of what Suzi has done to her man, and to Todd's horror, liluth also drinks the rest of the potion in the laboratory which subsequently turns her into a giant nude woman too. And liluth is going to have a duel with Suzi in the name of love.

I can be gigantic hotness too!

Oh for crying out loud! The cast members knew they are performing in a story so ridiculous and they should've been more relax to be able to pull it off. Rachel Krupsky, is fine as well as Robert Briggs only Iris who is rather wooden and all of them can deliver their line quite well. But it's the second half of the movie which is a total disaster.

Actually it's hard to blatantly criticize a short film made for fun, it does deliberately invite the audience to laugh at the story and probably to enjoy the eye candy. Sadly, I could not give credits for the originality of the story as there was already a movie made by the famous Fred Olen Ray titled Attack of the 60-foot Centerfolds (1995) which I think was the main source of inspiration of Battle of the Colossal Women. And the worst part is the second half presents nothing meaningful, all we see is several scenes of two giant women fighting each other and eventually caressing each other. Those scenes looks very staged, dumb and monotonously boring. I mean, okay the girls are really fine looking but at least give us some kind of building destruction ala monster movies or employ more extras/background performers/figuranten to depict chaos and widespread panic.

Battle of the Colossal Women presents something unordinary in the realm of short movies but it does not go far from simply being unordinary.
