The Movie Review
Bad Trip alright, and a Bad movie also! The story centers on these 2 guys named Josh and Sam who drive their car in the middle of nowhere and suddenly hit a person on the road. That person is happened to be an escaped fugitive by the name Tyrone played by Coolio. If you take a closer look at the upper right corner on the DVD Cover, you'll notice that Coolio also played as Jerome and Cherone (a woman by the way).
And so that incident changes the whole thing into a nightmare. Things got even more complicated when they have to stay in a kinda will-be-ghost-town-soon-enough for mistaken by the Sheriff as drug traffickers added that they also have to deal with the real drug dealers and his accomplices.

I believe this movie was intended to be a funny movie, but I don’t see where or when. The dialogues are rude and “ornamented” almost all the time by the F-word, which in this case is very unnecessary. Our heroes don’t act like ones. Well maybe the fat one but the other, the skinny dude is being such a stuck-up and so indifferent and unsympathetic that only gives sarcastic comments on things. Neither funny nor cool. Unfortunately that skinny dude is the only one who really has strong character—although in notorious kind of way—while the others are just simply plain. Sure there are the “Girls”, and as maybe you have already guessed there are only 2 girls...guess what kinds of personalities they have, yup the sarcastic one and the sweet one. Could you guess now who loves who?
Bad Trip, or in its other title Tyrone, is filled with many many void moments throughout the story and sarcasm. Yup, the pace is so awkward and strange. I got very sleepy watching this comedy film. Ok, now something to wake you up again, there’s even a scene where they have to be like...tomb raiders! (Hello Lara Croft!) but not in a good way, believe me. It's a low budget movie with weak plot. If you want to see an actor plays 3 roles in one movie, then you should see Norbit instead which headlined by Eddie Murphy. All in all it could have been a more interesting movie if everything handled more correctly or with more thought put in it.
