Will Ferrell is back on the sports world again, after he kicked some balls in Kicking & Screaming, raced in Talladega Nights now he skates raunchily in an ice skating movie. What is he up to right now in this ridiculously hilarious movie? Let's find out shall we...

Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy are two contenders ready to crunch each other's ankles and bones. They finally make it come true, at a championship ceremony award, they fight that in the end lead them to be banned for life from the ice skating world. Chazz (Will Ferrell) now works reluctantly at a local ice skating show for children and Jimmy (Jon Heder) works at a sports store. Both skaters hit the bottom of the rock, but an obsessed fan of Jimmy's discovers another way out for them, however it needs the biggest sacrifice from either Chazz or Jimmy, which is...to team up as a pair! Could the hot sexual-addicted Chazz finally get along with the tenderly smitten Jimmy and find their way to the championship?

Tee hee...I like this movie, it's always nice to see a movie that cheers my day, it makes me reviewing a movie much lighter. Blades of Glory is silly, hilarious, funny, I don't know, mmm Entertaining and Amusing!

Blades of Glory however feels a little bit short than what it should be, I got the feeling that the filmmakers are somehow in a hurry patch everything up, that makes some scenes felt jumpy, perhaps it's for giving the feeling of fast paced skating film. There are some interludes that are just mere silly and very apparent that the scenes are just to fill the gap, but honestly I don't give a care! At one point, there is a scene of the skater attending sex-addict therapist, that's quite a crazy therapy session.

Jon Heder is really able to live up his character. in fact his character has the stronger impact on the film than Ferrell's character. Jon's gawking mouth is a perfect match to Will stuck-up crazy character.

The filmmakers did a good job in making more evil out of the antagonists. It plays an important role in making this movie much more interesting. Without a pain-in-the-ass antagonist, it would alleviate Chazz and Jimmy's struggle and lessen the interesting aspect of this film. Kudos for Amy Poehler who is as troublesome as a slimy competitor could be.

Man.....I just love this movie! A simple premise could be this hilarious! Well done Will and Heder, you guys have made a spectacular and sportively funny movie!
