Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Dj Qualls team up in this comedy movie that parodies the war between Iraq and U.S. Before I Start, just so you know many movie critics panned the movie for having such poor cast, and it seems this movie was panned because of the existence of Larry. Well, I don't blame them for that, in fact Larry was the major flaw in this comedy.

The main plot is a bunch of man-child recruited for additional army force to be deployed in Fallujah, Iraq, but mistakenly landed in mexico when the humvee they are sleeping in dropped along with some supply boxes and Sgt. Kilgore whose foot tied up on a rope of the boxes. The next morning, Larry is frantically trying to wake his small-troops and find that Sgt. Kilgore (Keith David) has been killed in an accident. After they have buried the sergeant, they gather up the scattered gear and heads of to free the land of Iraq from the insurgents...in Mexico.

They find a small town whose people have some semblances more or less to Iraqis, because of the language barriers the boys up to this moment don't realize that they are about to invade a sovereign nation of Mexico, but to their clueless actions, the townspeople feel blessed by their visit since the boys help to get rid-off the bandidos lead by Carlos Santana (Danny Trejo) who loves to karaoke. Meanwhile Sgt. Kilgore who turns out to be still alive, wakes from the grave furiously trying to find for the boys, but he instead ride along with two local guys who attracted to him.

Now, Delta Farce is undoubtedly a film to be enjoyed in a relaxing moment. It has a good pace and strong plot for a kind of spoof film. It manages to unite the elements of comedy, war, action, a bit of drama and romance. Unfortunately as I stated earlier, the acting of the main cast is quite poor, but I think for this kinda flick, I myself don't expect the kind of acting that you will find in other genre. True it's not hilariously funny, but it entertains without having to put much thinking.
