The Movie Review

Reno 911!: Miami...what an awful joke. Do they know the definition of the word joke. Okay, Some of you are fans of Reno 911, I realize that, but some of us are just not, so I just take a neutral point of view alright.

Lt. Jim Dangle (Thomas Lennon) happily informs everyone that they have been invited to the American Police Convention in Miami Beach, but on arrival they find out that their name are not on the guess list, so they have to find another reservation, finally ends up at a seady motel. They spend the night by masturbating (only The Dudes! sorry). In the morning

they are briefed that everyone on the conventions are quarantined because of bio-chemical terrorist attack. They are the only police officers left outside the building that have to maintain order in Miami. That's it, now the fun begins, fun? What fun?

Reno 911!: Miami is full with condescending remarks that trying to be funny by degrading themselves, the jokes are crass. The characters are pitiful, they look like an honest police officers that don't deserve to be humiliated like that aside that those characters are also uninteresting and mind-numbing. It's amazing how this movie ever got its way to theater, and not goes directly to DVD shelves. Their stupidity is beyond sense, how do you see a bunch of cops trying to catch a hen by encircle it and shooting it, and again their acting or dialogue are not funny.

There is one thing that surprised me though, that this supposed-to-be-a-comedy film is finally getting interesting after almost an hour, when they chase someone (telling who someone is would be a spoiler, although it's not that hard to guess) on golf carts, but that action scene too is bugged with such pesky dialogue. Playing Roller Coaster Tycoon would be much more interesting than that. I remember exactly, I only laughed one time that last only 3 seconds, and that is also after this movie nearly reached the end. What is remarkable that before the credit roles, it implies that there will be a sequel!

I was surrounded by other jaw-dropping audiences who expected that somehow this movie will be as funny as Police Academy, well it turned out getting out of the theater is a safe place for all true comedy fans. I can't even recommend this to anyone (except for die-hard fans of course). Well if you are really into crass jokes that are absolutely unfunny, maybe this movie worth a shot. Maybe.
