The Movie Review
I give big applause and 5 stars for....The Advertising Departments! For successfully alluring me along with other unfortunate moviegoers to watch this unbelievably unfunny jokes. I don't know how it manages to big box office numbers, but all I care that there are a lot of people who left the theatre with puzzled look.
Four middle-aged dudes Woody Stevens (John Travolta), Doug Madsen (Tim Allen), Bobby Davis (Martin Lawrence) and Dudley Frank (William H. Macy) are not feeling very satisfied with their current lives since each of them shares their own grumble, like woody who is bankrupt, Doug who's disregarded by his son, Booby whose wife got a "leash" on him, and Dudley a geek who in desperate needs for a date.

Woody, Knowing that his marriage is ending in divorce, practically doesn't have anything anymore except for his Harley Screaming Eagle Fatboy Bike, excites his friends to join him on a journey to seek some challenge and fun. The road-trip goes well until they finally encounter the real challenge when they meet bikers gang called Del Fuego led by Jack (Ray Liotta). After a very bad incident happens between Woody and Del Fuego (unknowingly to Woody's friends), Woody takes his friends to small town of Madrid and seeks refuge there. Two Del Fuegos spot the Wild Hogs and inform Jack who rushes in where Woody and his friends are hiding.
I feel like the word "Joke" needs a whole new definition because of Wild Hogs. There's nothing wild here, I just see 4 middle aged bikers riding around against the backdrop of uninteresting area, doing supposed-to-be hilarious things and engaging in bikers battle. You know how awful a film is maybe after a couple of minutes watching it, but something tickles me when I saw its poster, how on earth do they put Martin Lawrence as a member, he is too darn cute (young) compared to the other three. I thought they could compensate this absurdity with their jokes as some of other comedies do, but zilch. Besides hearing them saying their lines is just like listening to a late-nite jazz music in the middle of the dessert in broad daylight! It's simply mind-numbing.
Wild Hogs arguably appeals only to road-trip movies collectors or to die hard fans of the cast. For the advertising people of Wild Hogs, Please use your talent for a lot other First Rate Movies that deserves a proper ad campaign.
