You are about to witness one of the most controversial movies ever. Controversial but heavy on substance that like it or not would make you stare at it till the end. Simply put, this movie is great but it falls on the dreaded category of "Hate-it-or-Love-it". No in-between, at least for me.

No doubt about the cast, they are all great actors and actresses. It is the storyline though that will intrigue you fellow moviegoers. It puts us into thinking, deep thinking. I don't know whether they are really good actors or they are really into their script because you know, they're defending their race. But anyhow and anyway, they give solid performance even Brendan Fraser, the comical guy.

Crash mainly revolves around racism that happens in Los Angeles, U.S., and how they interact with each other with their own vulnerable shield of prejudices. So the storyline is really much about that and added with obligatory some Car-related scenes that involves shooting, carjacking, hitchhiking.

If I may put it in other metaphorical, Crash is like the film Bloodsport. When there are Chinese, Asian, Persian, Afro-American, Caucasian, And Latin, and they crash on the ring, Well...in Crash those races do bump on the road, thus the word Crash. But it's deeper than that. Crash crashes not only the cars but also the person, the mind, the prejudice and their perspective on other nations. It crashes openly on the street.

Some of us probably hate some nations or hate some races, but we never talk about it, because we're civilized, but in Crash, we have other people do it for us and that other people happen to be great actors. The line...? the dialogue...? Now, we only need a word or two to agitate other races right? Same here then, we forget almost entirely about the lines, since our mind would be occupied by its tension. This drama film is definitely not for kids, not because of the violence but because of its way in presenting racial conflicts.

Seeing this movie would be very depressing for whose races got insinuated, and for other races outside them, you could also got depressed too by its gut-wrenching lines. Crash arguably tries to convey that Truthful often hurtful and we live in the world full of racism. But I personally think we can not stereotype every person belongs to the same race, cause it is their mind and heart that really shape their personality, and not race.

It's depressingly engaging, because Crash (almost) doesn't have any mercy for the audience for giving them at least a couple of minutes to catch a breath out of tension. See, all the dialogue is about racism, so if you got insinuated, then the whole running length well...engagingly depressing.
