The Movie Review

Oh...another man-eater. Okay, here's the ultimate question... Where are they?!

The premise of the movie is really moth-eaten but never a genre out-dated if only they know ho to twist it. This movie lacks that twist.

Takes place in the jungle in the remote part of Thailand, we have 6 typical college students majoring in Anthropologist that are invited by Professor Hamilton (played by F Murray A.) to discover a new species of primates. We are acquainted with the Geek, the Sensitive one, the Mysterious, the Jock, and the Blonde et cetera. Their professor turns out to be a liar and egomaniac kinda man who puts them in great danger. Their mission soon

goes awry and now left abandoned without any access to the outside world, they have to make salvation for themselves. By the way, there's also this sarcastic but tough native girl who's really the assistant and also the bodyguard of the professor. Maybe the twist in this horror movie really is this petite girl that roles as the professor's bodyguard.

And so the feasting begins, one by one they are "eaten" by the monkey (mmm...where's the monkey now?). Do you see what's on the cover art? Skulls in stakes up on the branches of a tree? Yeah, did the cover-designers know what they had designed? Cause there isn't any single scene that shows it! Yep that's fake!

Could the dialogues help? Hmmm, if you like comedy film, then probably. Maybe they should just whisper the dialogues, at least perhaps it would heighten the tension, if...there is one though, because nearly all the shoutings and screamings sound silly. A piece of advice, keep your eyes open, cause the blood monkey always shows themselves briefly! Do please forgive them, maybe they're just shy... Yeah right! If you miss it, then do please rewind it, it's so fast that if you turn your head for a couple of seconds then Poof! It's gone!
