Sarah Tyler (Isabella Calthorpe) has just got home from Los Angeles to her home in a very quiet and remote countryside in Sussex, England. Deciding to stay for a while, Sarah is welcomed warmly by her family, kindhearted step-father, and loving siblings and friends. Although they may seem to have change a bit or is it Sarah herself who's changed? Anyhow, while trying to rebuilt bond with her former best-friend, Emily (Gemma Atkinson), and exchange stories with the boys at the barn, the lights suddenly go out and unpleasant storm is coming their way.

Sarah and her loved ones decide to just call it a day and coming into the house, but to their surprise, they find blood spilt and scattered all over the house. And in this dark, stormy night, there is something very vicious, very fast and very un-human hunting them wildly. Oblivious to what is happening around them, he group split into two, some make it to lock themselves inside a room while Gary Ashby (Tom Felton of Harry Potter)) and Sarah's youngest brother, Luke Moore (Antony De Liseo) are still outside walking cluelessly inside the house not knowing that gory demise may be their fate. What will happen to Sarah and her friends? What is actually happening in that house?

Be advised, Minor Spoilers in the review below.

Limited release according to IMDb was what happened to 13Hrs. Limited release usually means a movie that will NOT gain income in such pleasingly fluent manner. Well, the decision might be a wise thing to do, because unfortunately, the premise of 13Hrs has been done to death by now and it's hard to come up with something new. You see, it's about werewolf! One of my favorite horror figures actually and while I always try to look at the quality of a movie and decide whether it's a good one or not by its own accord, I can surely say I dislike the story in 13Hrs...

That being said, credits should be given to the cast comprising talented actors such as Isabella Calthorpe, Gemma Atkinson, Tom Felton and the great antagonist Peter Gadiot (as Stephen Moore). I don't know what would this horror movie be without these actors/actresses...! Kinda remind me of the so-so horror film Altitude (2010) but saved by the astounding performance of the cast. Interestingly, the directing is fairly acceptable, the camerawork is standard but good, the music score is good and the gory on-screen graphical depiction of slashed body parts, victims with their rib-cage opened and other bloody stuff is sufficient to shock. But suffice it to say, with such mundane storyline, which sadly has many room for improvements though, 13Hrs may appeal only for those who rarely and rarely see horror movies. It's not bad, it's not awful, it's just pretty much so-so all the way.
