Phoenix the Warrior!

After the bacteriological wars which ignite worldwide pandemic plague that kills all the men and leaving only a few female survivors, the world is going to face something even worse... Apparently one of the female survivors is a black magic practitioner called as Reverend Mother (Sheila Howard). By using dark arts, she breeds a new race of evil females who will not tolerate any living human being who dare to oppose their group.

But lately, her ultimate work in messing up with human gene pool is interrupted by a teenager named Keela (Peggy McIntaggart AKA Peggy Sands) who is actually Reverend Mother's object to breeding experiment. And the enraged old witch orders her best warrior, Cobalt (Persis Khambatta) to command a vicious pack of female warriors to hunt down this girl. Just as they almost eliminate Keela, in the nick of time, a defender of good named Phoenix the Sandtrapper (Kathleen Kinmont of Renegade TV-Series (1929-1996)) saves her a*s and both of them have even managed to kill Riptide (Isis Richardson) and Whiplash.

No wonder these savage chicks are hunting Keela so desperately, because she is carrying a male seed in her womb! Something very important for mankind and also important for Reverend Mother but only as a way to strengthen her evil power. Luck is on her side, when Keela and Phoenix are accepted in the community of a remote tribe and build a new home there. Time passes by and Keela gives birth to a boy which they name Skyler (Skyler Corbett). However, Cobalt's persistency in finding them is proven to be haunting. And so when Cobalt and her gangs of female warriors raid their hide-out, Phoenix, Keela and Skyler are forced to battle for some more and relocate themselves again to an awful place, Badlands. Thankfully there is still one man left alive (James Emery), who escapes from Reverend Mother's clutches. Will they come out as winners on their quest to save humanity...

Gladiators learn to Dig!

Whooowwww... Which one of you dear male readers who wants to be "that man"? No one?! Good! Because that guy got his d*ck broken by Phoenix in their first encounter. And if you think having that only adult actor in the movie is a cue to an endless array of nude women, you're dead wrong mate. Even the presence of a playboy playmate, Peggy McIntaggart, does not directly elevate the level of exploitation! Only two females go topless and none of them have dialogue. The fact that we can instantly learn from this exploitation post-apocalyptic flick is not only that men are extinct, morality is extinct, internet is extinct (wait have they invented internet yet?), but apparently Bras have also disappeared from the face of the Earth!

Let's see.... We got buggy car got flipped with human doll in it, we got apple-munching scantily-clad femme fatale, we got an endless array of bad acting which btw topped only by a vast array of hot women as far as you can see, we got a topless Amazonian Warrior wields long sword to fight machine guns, we got creepy burial grounds of the savage tribe Rezule, we got female gladiators fighting in the desert, exotic/creative/sensual costumes for the female warriors, we got a little child actor who's clearly oblivious to something called acting, ragged-clothed tribesmen who talks like a wrecked robot (Terminator would gladly come back to lead them to extinction!)

Wicked Kick!

Do you feel that you are the biggest movie buff in the planet?! Get a hold of this, the filmmakers of this exploitation flick shot a scene where some cult is about to torture several people but instead of chanting some evil words, they chant... The titles of Movies!!! Seriously mate?! Flinstones? Jetsons? Sesame Street? What are you expecting.... to get stomp by Big Bird to death? Some scenes can be crafted to induce laughter actually, but since it plays seriously, She Wolves of the Wasteland AKA Phoenix the Warrior becomes boring. Too many shooting scenes and less fist-fighting are my biggest disappointment. Those who love post-apocalyptic movies would want to get a hold of this rare movie because it does somehow deliver some of the oddest elements in movie realm.
