About Us

Movielogy.com was established in February 2008 for the purpose of presenting movie reviews and other movie stuff for moviegoers all around the world.

We strive hard to present our reviews by taking side to the moviegoers as we understand that seeing a good movie is one form of entertainment that tickles your senses ranging from thrilling to relaxing which is exciting and probably even memorable. But sometimes some of moviegoers are just unlucky to be 'trapped' to see a bad film. Thus we know how important your money and time are for such experience.

We rate movies by giving them stars from zero to five. And we even point several key factors that determine the quality of a movie, namely the storyline, the acting and the ending. However, we encourage our readers to read the reviews, as for the star rating is mainly a brief reference, and what the movie actually delivers is outlined on its review. Up until now, we still rate independent movies equal to mainstream movies. One of the main reasoning for this is that we believe and witness that several independent movies could actually outperform mainstream ones.

We categorize movies into several genre which each one represents a special sort of excitement e.g. excitement of fear, excitement of humor and excitement of fantasy. We also categorize other special movies into 3 exclusive sections: Classic, Asian and Indonesian. Mainly, but not all, Classic for their classical, memory and/or high-quality values. Asian for their unique, cultured and inspiring values. And Indonesian for their historical, warm-hearted and new-wave values.

Finally, with Movielogy, we hope fellow moviegoers as our readers could have a great time and useful information for movie reference.
